On 22 April, after several days of decline, electricity consumption in Ukraine rose again.

This was reported by «Ukrenergo».

As of 9:30 am, consumption was 5.1% higher than on the previous day, Monday. This is due to the traditional increase in energy consumption at the beginning of the working week and after the holiday period.

On 21 April, the maximum consumption level was recorded in the evening, and it was 9.9% lower than on Friday. Experts attribute this to the warming weather and the public holiday in many institutions and organisations.

«Ukrenergo» calls on citizens to use powerful electrical appliances during the period of the most efficient operation of solar power plants — from 10:00 to 18:00.

As a reminder, on 22 April, a number of streets in Mykolaiv were left without electricity supply due to scheduled works.
