The «Food Train» arrived in the Kherson region for Easter. This kitchen train is capable of cooking tens of thousands of meals offline — even without electricity.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

He said that the train was created to help people in regions where logistics and energy infrastructure have been damaged by the war. The project was implemented by Ukrzaliznytsia with the support of The Howard G. Buffett Foundation.

«This time, «Food Train» delivered 1,250 Easter cakes and 2,500 hot lunches for internally displaced persons staying in temporary accommodation», the statement said.
