Mykolaiv wants to build a pier and a recreation area in the park «Yantarnyi»: ₴3 million needed

Mykolaiv is looking for a donor to finance the overhaul of the green area in the «Yantarnyi» park in the Inhulskyi district. The works are estimated at 3 million hryvnias.

The project envisages the overhaul of the green zone at 2 Naberezhna Street, namely:

• Improvement of the territory (planning of the territory in compliance with the existing relief, arrangement of sidewalks made of shaped paving elements (PEM), installation of new curbs/curbstones);
• Installation of small architectural forms (gazebos, benches and garbage bins);
• Arrangement of a sports area for open-air sports;
• Arrangement of a pier — a recreation area near the water;
• Landscaping of the territory.

The project was initiated by the Inhulskyi district administration. The territory of the park is on the balance sheet of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks».

Two years after the park «Yunist» in Mykolaiv returned from private lease to city ownership, its condition remains unsatisfactory. The territory looks neglected, and the infrastructure is worn out and dangerous for visitors.
