Ochakiv authorities are looking for someone to give the city ₴15 million for park reconstruction and construction of fountains

The city of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, plans to reconstruct a park and build new fountains. The city authorities are currently looking for a donor to finance these works.

The authorities of the city of Ochakiv, which is located about 5 kilometres by sea from the occupied Kinburn Spit, published the relevant project on the website of the state DREAM system, according to NikVesti.

The initiator of the project is the Ochakiv City Council. The cost of the work is currently estimated at 15 million hryvnias, and the duration of the work is three years.

The project envisages a complete reconstruction of the boulevard part of the park in Ochakiv, which stretches from Myru Street to the Cathedral. The main works include:

• construction of two groups of fountains;
• replacement of the old asphalt concrete pavement with a new one made of 40 mm thick paving slabs;
• arrangement of a 2 metre wide pedestrian path along the car park, using paving slabs;
• installation of a ramp for the convenience of people with reduced mobility at the intersection of the paths with the car park;
• installation of tactile tiles on the ramp for the convenience of visually impaired people;
• creation of a recreation area;
• landscaping of the territory.

What other projects have the Ochakiv authorities published in DREAM?

The Ochakiv authorities are currently looking to find funding for several projects in the city through the state DREAM system. This includes the construction of a tourist information centre, which requires 4 million hryvnias.

The city authorities are also planning to build a rehabilitation centre for war veterans and disabled people. The cost of construction is currently estimated at 190 million hryvnias, and the duration of the work is 4 years.

At the same time, they are looking for a donor through the DREAM system to finance the reconstruction of the Ochakiv Palace of Culture, which was destroyed by Russian shelling, and needs 10 million hryvnias.
