Prokudin confirms that it was he who initiated the dismissal of the former head of Kherson CMA

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, confirmed that it was he who initiated the dismissal of the former head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, and sent the relevant request.

He said this in an interview with the online media outlet «MOST».

Roman Mrochko was appointed to the position of the head of the Kherson City Military Administration by the President of Ukraine, but, according to the law, the head of the regional military administration has the right to submit a motion for his dismissal.

«I could. I did. I could and I did,», said Prokudin.

He also noted that the initiative to dismiss Roman Mrochko came from him. According to Prokudin, this decision was justified by a number of issues that, in his opinion, had a negative impact on the situation in Kherson region.

«I saw it in schools (we are talking about the construction of so-called «underground schools» in Kherson, — note) I also saw it in some other issues that probably hindered the existence of the Kherson region and had a negative impact on it. And on the president as well. I saw the irreversible processes that were taking place», said the head of the regional military administration.

As a reminder, on 17 April, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko.
