President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy hopes to meet with US President Donald Trump after finalising Ukrainian documents.

He said this during a conversation with the Ukrainian media, according to «Ukrainska Pravda».

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after the documents are finalised, the United States plans to hold consultations with the Russians in the coming days.

After that, the US side will hold consultations with the US President. Further, as Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, the negotiating teams of Ukraine and the United States may meet in the United States in the near future, possibly even over the weekend.

After this meeting, the parties will decide on possible talks at the level of leaders, in particular between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the positions of the United States and Ukraine still differ on the issue of dividing the territories. According to him, the US side, as a mediator, will offer different ways to reach a consensus.
