President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted draft laws to the Verkhovna Rada on the extension of martial law and general mobilisation.

This is stated in draft laws №14128 and №14129, registered in parliament.

The documents provide for the extension of martial law and general mobilisation in Ukraine for another 90 days — until February 2026.

If these draft laws are adopted, the current restrictive measures and mobilisation procedures will remain in force for the specified period.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the extension of martial law and mobilisation is necessary to ensure national security and an effective response to the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

As a reminder, Ukrainians over the age of 60 are eligible to sign a contract with the Armed Forces and begin their service.
