«We are proud to call you a friend»: Koreniev presented Ambassador Mikkelsen with the Mykolaiv Badge of Honour

Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv Serhii Koreniev solemnly presented Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen with the first award «The Badge of Honour of the city of Mykolaiv».

The presentation took place on 30 September in Kyiv during a reception to mark the end of the Ambassador's diplomatic cadence, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said on his telegram channel.

In his post, the mayor noted that over the years of cooperation, Ole Egberg Mikkelsen has become a true friend to Mykolaiv, which is why he was one of the first to receive the award.

Mr Ole was among the first to receive the city's award «The Badge of Honour of the City of Mykolaiv». This is just a small symbol of our immense gratitude for everything you have done for our city. We are proud to call you a friend of Mykolaiv. Thank you for your support, for your sincerity and for your faith in our city. The team you have created will continue your work. And in Mykolaiv, you are always welcome,» wrote Oleksandr Sienkevych.

As a reminder, a new award was presented in Mykolaiv «The Badge of Honour of the City of Mykolaiv». In addition to Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, the first recipients will be businessmen, co-founders of monobank Oleh Horokhovskyi and Mykhailo Rohalskyi.
