Zelenskyy talks to Kellogg ahead of meeting with Trump in Washington

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg on the eve of his meeting with US President Donald Trump.

He announced this on social media.

The Head of State discussed the situation on the battlefield with Kellogg, as well as «strong diplomatic opportunities for Ukraine and the whole of Europe together with America».

«First of all, we are grateful to President Trump for this invitation and the format we will have. The signal on security guarantees is important. It is very important that we are together with the United States and Europe,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy stressed that Russia can only be forced to peace through force, and President Trump «has that force».

«When it comes to peace for one person in Europe, it is about everyone in Europe. We are ready to continue to work as productively as possible to end the war and reliably guarantee security. These are the key things,» the President stressed.

Earlier it was reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy had arrived in the United States to meet with US President Donald Trump.
