President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree on new sanctions against Russia. The restrictions include 60 companies and 73 Russian citizens.

This is stated on the President's website.

According to the president, these sanctions are aimed, in particular, at cryptocurrency financial schemes used by Russia to support its military industry.

«Since the beginning of the year, Russians have spent several billion dollars through one company alone, which is now under sanctions, mainly for the war. We will block all such schemes», Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

The President also said that Ukraine is preparing new sanctions decisions that will be synchronised with the EU sanctions.

The sanctions list includes companies related to cryptocurrencies, mining, and logistics, among others: Association of Industrial Mining of the Russian Federation, «Promminer», Blockchain Hub, Tokenique, «Sibstroyapital», Keystone Logistics, Tokentrust Holdings Limited (Cyprus), Crypto Explorer DMCC (UAE) and others.

As a reminder, US President Donald Trump, having cancelled sanctions against Syria on 1 July, automatically removed a number of Russian companies, banks and individuals from the sanctions lists.
