US Vice President J.D. Vance has said that the Americans may refuse to mediate in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine if they do not receive a positive response.

Clash Report writes about this.

According to him, the Trump administration has presented «a clear and fair offer» to both Russians and Ukrainians.

«We will refuse to mediate between Russia and Ukraine if we do not receive a positive response. We have made a clear and fair offer to both Russians and Ukrainians», said Vice President J.D. Vance.

As a reminder, the United States handed over to Ukraine a document containing the «final» peace proposal, which provides for the de facto recognition of part of the occupied territories by Russia, including Crimea. The document, which was handed over to Ukrainian officials in Paris, describes the proposal as an initiative of President Donald Trump. The United States has said it will withdraw from the negotiation process if an agreement is not reached soon.
