Ukraine's talks with partners conclude in Paris: security and peace discussed

Ukrainian officials met in Paris with national security advisers from France, the United Kingdom and Germany.

The parties discussed the possibilities of achieving sustainable peace, including a ceasefire, the deployment of an international military contingent and the creation of a system of security guarantees for Ukraine.

Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak described the talks as «very meaningful». Defence Minister Rustem Umierov stressed that work on security guarantees with partners continues.

Earlier, Andrii Yermak reported that Ukraine also had meetings with US representatives who are currently in France.

As a reminder, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff were due to arrive in Paris to hold talks with the French leadership. The main topic of discussion was the possibility of ending the war in Ukraine.
