US President Donald Trump has accused not only Russian President Vladimir Putin of launching a full-scale invasion, but also his predecessor Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He said this during a meeting with El Salvadoran President Naib Buchele at the White House on 14 April, according to «Evropeiska pravda».

Donald Trump reiterated that during his presidency, Vladimir Putin «did not even mention» the war against Ukraine, and his predecessor Joe Biden could have stopped the war by «lowering oil prices», but did not.

«So what should we do now? We have a country that has lost 25% of its territory and the best places where millions of people have been killed... This was Biden's war, and I am trying to stop it. And I think we will do a good job. I hope we do it», Donald Trump said.

Shortly afterwards, while talking to journalists, Donald Trump stressed that millions of people had died because of this war. According to him, it happened because of three people.

«Let's say Putin is number one. Biden, who had no idea what he was doing, is number two. And Zelenskyy. And all I can do is try to stop it. I want to stop the killings. And I think we are doing a good job in that regard. I think you're going to have very good deals very soon», Donald Trump concluded.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the strike by Russian troops on the city of Sumy, which killed at least 34 people, could have been a «mistake».

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that US President Donald Trump's approach to war, based on the principle of «peace through strength», is currently only applicable to Ukraine.
