The Executive Committee of Mykolaiv City Council has approved the installation of a mobile temporary structure (MTS) on the corner of Shevchenko and Soborna Streets. In addition, the city plans to dismantle 12 temporary structures in the Zavodskyi, Inhulskyi and Tsentralnyi districts that lack the necessary permits.
The relevant decision was adopted during the Executive Committee meeting on 27 May, according to NikVesti.
This involves concluding a personal fixed-term easement agreement with sole trader Iryna Ihorivna Kryvenko for the placement of a mobile temporary structure on a 5-square-metre plot of land at the corner of Shevchenko and Soborna streets in the Central district of Mykolaiv. The agreement is planned to be concluded for a term of one year.

«Thirteen draft decisions have been prepared. One concerns the placement of a mobile temporary structure at the junction of Shevchenko and Soborna Streets, whilst the other 12 concern the dismantling of structures lacking the necessary permits. These are mainly structures in the Zavodskyi district, following a request from the district administration due to cluttered areas, unsanitary conditions and locked structures without permits. There are also structures in the Ingulskyi district and bus shelters in the Central district, where only one out of several structures has the necessary permits,» said Mykolaiv’s chief architect, Yevhen Poliakov.
The executive committee considered all the issues as a single package. The decision was supported by 14 members of the executive committee, with one abstention.
In particular, the city plans to dismantle the bus stop complex on Zakhysnykiv Mykolaieva Street, at the corner of Tsentralnyi Avenue, in the direction of the yacht club in the Central District.
The dismantling will also affect the following facilities:
- a retail pavilion with a covered summer terrace on Lazurna Street, near building №18-b in the Zavodskyi district;
- a temporary structure on Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue, near building №26-a in the Inhulskyi District;
- a retail kiosk within a retail complex on the corner of Zakhysnykiv Mykolaieva Street and Tsentralnyi Avenue, heading towards the yacht club;
- a retail kiosk near building №2 on Industrialna Street in the Zavodskyi district;
- a retail kiosk with a covered waiting area for transport at the corner of Sviatoslav Aleksapolskyi Street and Sudnobudivnykiv Lane;
- a retail kiosk near building №82 on Pohranychna Street;
- a kiosk near building №135-A on Kovalska Street;
- a retail kiosk near building №31 on Sadova Street;
- a retail kiosk near buildings №48–50 on Sviatoslav Aleksapolskyi Street;
- a kiosk with a canopy near building №3-B on Proektna Street.
It should be noted that at its previous meeting, the executive committee approved the dismantling of seven temporary structures in the Zavodskyi and Tsentralnyi districts. Summer terraces and retail kiosks lacking the necessary permits are to be removed.
In addition, the executive committee also approved the demolition of two structures damaged by Russian shelling. These are a residential building and an administrative building, which have been deemed potentially hazardous.
