Mykolaiv residents recounted the night-time shelling by Shahed drones

Residents of one of the buildings in Mykolaiv reported night-time shelling by Shahed kamikaze drones, which Russian troops used to attack the city on the night of 18 February.

This was reported by correspondents from NikVesti.

As is known, on the night of 18 February, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones. According to the RMA, a fire broke out in the city and a private house was destroyed. Seven more private houses were damaged by the blast wave. No people were injured.

«We heard the Shahed flying. The sound was quiet, but it was clear that it would crash somewhere. We saw a glow and then heard an explosion. We were scared, of course. All the windows were blown out, and glass was scattered everywhere. We got dressed, went out into the yard, and saw that our neighbour's house was on fire. We have no windows, the doors are damaged, and slate is scattered all over the yard. Thank God, no one was hurt,» said local resident Liudmyla.
