Russia attacked port «Pivdennyi» again

On the morning of 20 December, Russian troops attacked the port of «Pivdennyi» in Odesa region.

This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba. Emergency crews are working at the site of the attack.

«The shelling does not stop. After eight in the morning, another attack on the Pivdennyi port was recorded — there were hits to the tanks... Despite the constant risks, port workers continue to work to ensure that maritime logistics do not stop», the official said.

Following the attack on the bridge in the Maiaky area, logistics are being restored. According to Kuleba, residents have access to all necessary goods and services.

Passage for emergency services, food, postal services and other urgent transport is ensured. All checkpoints are open.

«More than 37,000 customers in Odesa city and Odesa district are still without electricity. The residents are supplied with heat and water», added Oleksii Kuleba.

On the evening of 19 December, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile attack on the port infrastructure in Odesa district. According to preliminary data, the attack killed 7 people and injured about 15 others. All the injured are currently being provided with the necessary medical care.
