Drones attacked energy and ports in Odesa region: DTEK reports significant damage

On the night of 4 November, Russian troops attacked Odesa region twice with attack drones, causing fires at energy and port infrastructure facilities.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper. According to him, the air defence forces destroyed most of the enemy drones, but some of them hit civilian objects.
«The strikes caused fires. The road surface, industrial buildings and equipment were damaged. Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire», the head of the region said.

The damage is significant, and repair work will begin after the permission of the military and rescuers.
The State Emergency Service reported that fires broke out on the territory of energy and port facilities as a result of Russian strikes. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
On 31 October, Russian troops also attacked energy facilities in Odesa region.
In addition, during Russia's shelling of Ukraine's energy infrastructure on 30 October, substations critical to nuclear safety were damaged.
According to the IAEA, the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant lost access to one of its external power lines. A similar situation was reported at Khmelnytskyi NPP.
