Ombudsman Lubinets: Shelling of Kherson hospital is another war crime of the Russian Federation

Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said that the shelling of a children's hospital in Kherson by Russian troops was another war crime.

He wrote about it in his Telegram.

Lubinets stressed that Russian troops deliberately attack civilian objects in violation of international humanitarian law. He called on the international community to respond more decisively to such crimes.

«This is yet another war crime by the Russian Federation, which deliberately attacks civilian objects in flagrant violation of IHL. I call on the international community to respond decisively. Until Russia is held accountable, no one in Ukraine can feel safe», wrote Dmytro Lubinets.

As a reminder, on the morning of 29 October, Russian troops shelled a children's hospital in Kherson with artillery. At the time of the attack, there were young patients, their parents and medical staff in the hospital.
