Russian troops continue to systematically shell settlements in the right-bank Kherson region. Yesterday, on 28 October, 32 settlements in the region came under fire.
According to the head of the RMA Oleksandr Prokudin, the enemy was targeting residential areas and critical infrastructure. More than 20 objects were damaged, including seven multi-storey buildings, seven private houses, two administrative buildings, factory facilities, three cars, a gas pipeline, garages and cafes.
According to the National Police, an FPV drone hit the territory of a plant in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring a 55-year-old man. He was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma and injuries to his head, arms and legs. The victim was hospitalised.
Also in this area, a 60-year-old woman died as a result of shelling — she was fatally wounded on 27 October.
In the evening, Russians shelled the coastal part of the Dniprovskyi district with multiple rocket launchers. The strikes partially damaged three private houses, as well as three high-rise buildings in Korabelnyi district and several administrative buildings in Tsentralnyi district.
The police say that all attacks are classified as war crimes by the Russian Federation against civilians.
As a reminder, the day before, Russian troops shelled Kherson and a number of settlements in the region. A 75-year-old woman was killed and nine other people were injured, including three police officers.
