Russian Federation attacks Odesa region: a woman is killed, wounded, buildings damaged

On the night of 23 September, Russia attacked Tatarbunary in Odesa region, killing a woman and injuring two other people.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
«Fires were reported in the central part of the city, and the buildings of a hotel, Ukrposhta, Ukrtelecom, the House of Culture and the ASC were destroyed. Trade kiosks and cars were also damaged,» said Kiper.

The strike partially disrupted power supply, leaving about 800 subscribers without electricity. Power engineers are already working to restore the power grid. Water supply has not been interrupted.
Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation. Resorts in the Odesa region were also hit by ballistic missiles: buildings of two recreation centres were destroyed, and three buildings, four office buildings and three cars were damaged.


As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in five kiosks, which was extinguished by rescuers. Two special vehicles and six firefighters were involved.
The Kyivskyi district of Odesa also came under fire. Nine residential buildings and an educational institution were damaged. In the morning, the operational headquarters of the district started working in the city.
Currently, 130 windows are known to be damaged, and another 30 windows in the school. Work is underway to seal the windows with film and OSB boards.
The Odesa City Hall noted that 19 residents of the affected buildings have already contacted the operational headquarters. Its work will last until 17:00 today.
As a reminder, on the night of 22 and 23 September, the Air Defence Forces shot down nine drones in Mykolaiv region.
