Four people were killed and 44 others wounded as a result of Russia's massive night attack on Ukraine.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram.

«Unfortunately, four people were killed in Ukraine and more than 44 were injured. Our rescuers and emergency services are still eliminating the consequences of the attack across the country», the head of state said.

According to Zelenskyy, he had a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, during which they discussed the Russian strike and coordinated further diplomatic efforts. The parties also agreed on new measures to strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities.

As a reminder, on the night of 7 September, Russia carried out a record-breaking attack, using more than 800 drones, 9 cruise missiles and 4 ballistic missiles. According to preliminary data, a child was among the dead.
