The Russian occupation authorities have added Mariupol and Berdiansk to the list of ports open to foreign vessels.

The relevant order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the Centre for Transport Strategies. The ships will be used to export resources from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

«According to representatives of the so-called «DPR», this will allow Russia to intensify the export of products belonging to Ukraine from the occupied territories of Donbas and Zaporizhzhia region,» the centre said.

The main cargoes of the Mariupol port are currently metal, coal and grain.

As a reminder, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (GUR) recently released information about 42 vessels involved in schemes to transport Russian and Iranian oil, as well as stolen Ukrainian grain and coal from the occupied territories, including Crimea. Among the vessels identified is a floating storage facility of the «LUKOIL» company, which is under international sanctions.
