Russians attack Kherson region: residential buildings damaged, one dead and one injured

On 8 August and on the night of 9 August, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region. The attack killed one person and wounded three others, including one child.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional state administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to the RMA, Antonivka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Klapaшa, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Beregove, Dniprovske, Doslidne, Yantarne, Veletenske, Kizomys, and Sofiivka, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Urozhayne, Mylove, Dudchany, Respublikanets, Kachkarivka, Nova Kamyanka, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Burhunka, Tiahynka, Virivka, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Lvove, Osokorivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Kozatske and the city of Kherson came under air strikes and artillery fire over the past day.

It is noted that the Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas of the region's settlements.

«Two multi-storey buildings and six private houses were damaged. The occupiers also vandalised a trolleybus and private garages and cars», the statement said.

As reported, Russian troops shelled Kherson region on 5 August and on the night of 6 August. Eight people were injured in the attack.
