Russian shelling damages gas pipeline in Ochakiv

A gas pipeline was damaged in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, during Russian shelling.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv branch of «Gazmerezha».

As a result of the shelling, more than a hundred customers were left without gas.

«Employees of the Mykolaiv branch have localised the emergency and are trying to return «blue fuel» to the homes of the townspeople as soon as possible. The work is complicated by regular massive shelling by the Russian Federation», the statement said.

The results of the gas supply resumption will be announced later.

As a reminder, on the night of 30 July, at 00:20, the Russians fired a multiple rocket launcher system at Ochakiv. The shelling damaged 11 private houses, one apartment building, three cars and five outbuildings.

As reported earlier, the «Naftogaz» group signed the first agreement on the purchase of gas from Azerbaijan, which will be supplied via Bulgaria and Romania.
