Enemy attacked suburbs of Mykolaiv with Shahed drones: one person is seriously wounded, cottages caught fire

The aftermath of the shelling of Mykolaiv on 25 May. Photo: NikVestiOn the night of 8 July, Russian troops attacked with Shahed drones the Vesniane community in Mykolaiv region. As a result, a 51-year-old man was wounded in the village of Nadbuzke — his condition is stable and serious in the morning.
Two country houses and dry grass also caught fire, the Mykolaiv regional military administration said in a morning report.
At the same time, air defence forces destroyed two Shahed drones in the skies over Mykolaiv region.
On 7 July, the enemy fired artillery and attacked the Kutsurub community three times with FPV drones. Dry grass and shrubs caught fire outside the village of Solonchaky. Two more shelling incidents in the village of Dmytrivka damaged the roof of a shop, a power line and caused a dry grass fire. There were no casualties, all fires were extinguished.
The enemy also attacked with FPV drones three times on 7 July and once at 03:32 on 8 July in the waters of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.
Attack on Mykolaiv on 6 July
On the night of 6 July, Mykolaiv was attacked by enemy Shahed drones. The enemy attack damaged the city's port infrastructure.
In the morning, explosions were heard in the city. The mayor of the city, Oleksandr Sienkevych, reported destruction. At least ten residential buildings, a catering facility and a bank were damaged. Utilities are already cleaning up the aftermath of the attack.
Initially, one person was reported injured. The number has now increased to two: A 31-year-old woman was hospitalised, her condition is moderate. The 35-year-old man was treated on the spot.
As of the morning of 7 July, the woman is in a stable serious condition, the RMA reported.
