House of Organ Music damaged in Dnipro due to Russian attack: stained glass windows smashed

On 24 June, a rocket attack damaged the House of Organ and Chamber Music in Dnipro. The blast wave smashed more than 40 stained glass windows.

This was reported by the director of the institution, Anton Cherneta.

In a commentary to «Suspilne», he noted that two large and more than 40 small stained-glass windows were damaged. Philanthropists will help restore them. The main instrument, the organ, was not damaged.

«It will be restored. This will not stop us. The House of Organ and Chamber Music continues its work, and this weekend we are finishing the concert season. We are holding the artistic front. We have no right to give up. We will restore everything, restore and continue. There will be new projects in this majestic building», Anton Cherneta said.

According to him, the 38th concert season will end on 29 June. All events will take place on schedule.

As a reminder, Russia struck Dnipro with ballistic missiles. At least four explosions were heard in the city. One of the missiles damaged the passenger train No. 52 Odesa-Zaporizhzhia.
