Russia attacks industrial infrastructure facility in Sumy: there are dead and wounded

On Wednesday, 14 May, Russian troops attacked an industrial infrastructure facility in the Sumy community.

This was reported by the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar.

«The explosion that was just heard in the city is the result of a strike on an industrial infrastructure facility. Additional information will be provided later at», wrote Artem Kobzar.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration noted that there were casualties as a result of the shelling.

«The consequences of the Russian attack are being investigated. The relevant services are working at the scene,» the statement added.

Later, the Sumy City Council reported that two people were killed and nine others were wounded, two of them in serious condition.

As a reminder, on 13 May, Russian troops carried out a series of drone attacks on several communities in Mykolaiv region.
