Law enforcers launch investigation after night shelling of Mykolaiv

Law enforcement officials have opened a criminal investigation into the nighttime shelling of Mykolaiv on 10 April, which injured ten residents.
According to the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes (Article 438, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on 10 April, between 02:48 and 02:57, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv using unmanned aerial vehicles.
As a result of the fall of debris and the blast wave in the Zavodskyi district of the city, nine apartment buildings, cars of local residents and a car garage cooperative were damaged. In addition, ten civilians were injured.
As a reminder, on the night of 10 April, the Russian army launched a group of attack drones on the territory of Mykolaiv region. During the attack, fires broke out in two districts in Mykolaiv. 10 people were injured — two are currently in hospital, while others received outpatient care.
Also, on the night of 10 April, the air defence forces destroyed 28 drones over Mykolaiv region «Shahed 131/136».
