Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia: one person killed, two-month-old child among wounded

On the evening of 22 January, Russian troops launched attack drones at Zaporizhzhia. The attack killed one man and injured 31 others, including a two-month-old boy.
This was reported by the head of Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, one multi-storey building was destroyed and thirty more were damaged. Private houses and non-residential premises in Shevchenkivskyi and Oleksandrivskyi districts of the city were also damaged.
In addition, four employees of the State Emergency Service are among the injured. They are currently in hospital, where doctors are providing all the necessary assistance.
It is noted that the Russians launched four missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
«Currently, more than 20,000 residents are without electricity, and another 17,000 are without heating. All services are working at the sites of the hits, charity organisations have joined the response, and invincibility points have been set up at», said Ivan Fedorov.
Later he said that the number of victims had increased to 45. People continue to seek medical treatment after the night attack.







As a reminder, on the night of 23 January, air defence forces destroyed nine Shahed 131/136 drones in Mykolaiv region.
