Mykolaiv was hit by drones at night: a house burned in Inhulskyi district

On the night of Saturday, 28 December, the Russian army launched drones at Mykolaiv. The attack caused the roof of a house in the Inhulskyi district to burn.

Footage of the aftermath of the shelling was shown by the Mykolaiv Region State Emergency Service.

It is noted that rescuers extinguished a 5-square-metre fire on the roof of a five-storey residential building.

As of now, there is no information about the victims. It is known that the roof of the building itself was partially destroyed and windows were smashed.

At night, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that utility companies were inspecting the surrounding area. An aid station was set up at the site, where hot drinks were prepared for residents and city services.

In addition to the State Emergency Service, the Rapid Response Unit of the Red Cross of Ukraine was working at the scene.

It should be noted that according to the Air Force, the Russians began launching drones in Mykolaiv region at around 23:55. Ochakiv, villages in the Kutsurub community and Mykolaiv were under threat.
