Sweden to transfer 40 water treatment systems to Kherson region

Sweden will help Ukraine with access to clean water and donate about 40 modern treatment systems. Kherson region will be the first region to launch this project.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Water Authority, the initiative was made possible by a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The first plant is planned to be installed in Velyka Oleksandrivka to provide residents with quality drinking water.

«Sweden has long been an important partner for the Kherson region. And today we have taken another step towards expanding our cooperation,» said Oleksandr Prokudin.

As a reminder, Sweden plans to restore the village of Zmiivka in Kherson Region, which was damaged by Russian shelling.
