The National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of Chisinau has launched an audio guide in Ukrainian.

This was announced by First Lady Olena Zelenska.

«The dinoterium, a distant prehistoric relative of the elephant, is the pride of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. 125,000 Ukrainians who have taken refuge in Moldova because of the Russian invasion and hundreds of thousands who visit it every year will now be able to get acquainted with the country's oldest museum and its unique exhibits in their native language — these days, a Ukrainian audio guide» is starting to work here, Olena Zelenska said.

In addition, she said, the audio guide has become part of an international project that already has 96 guides in 52 countries. In addition to the standard version, the museum also offers a translation into Ukrainian sign language.

«History and culture, like all knowledge and opportunities, should be accessible to everyone. Only then they unite, not divide,» the First Lady added.

As a reminder, the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore hosted an exhibition «Mykolaiv Perfume», which introduced visitors to the centuries-old history of fragrances.
