They plan to spend 7 million hryvnias on the purchase of boiler rooms for Lyceum №10 in Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region.
The corresponding tender has been published on the Prozorro public procurement platform, according to NikVesti.
Most of these funds will come from the state budget — 5.3 million hryvnias — with the remainder coming from the local budget — 1.6 million hryvnias.
The contractor will have to dismantle the existing boiler rooms and install two new modular boiler rooms by 31 December 2027: a solid fuel boiler room and an emergency block-modular boiler room. The new boiler rooms must be manufactured at the factory and delivered ready-made.
The project also provides for the construction of an operator's room between the boiler rooms, a storage facility for solid fuel, and the necessary foundation work.
«The power supply to the boiler rooms is organised in accordance with modern standards, and measures are provided for energy conservation, noise protection, fire and electrical safety. The project also takes into account environmental safety, with no negative impact on the environment. The reconstruction will ensure a reliable and energy-efficient heat supply to the lyceum and adjacent buildings,» according to the description of this project in the DREAM system.
It should be noted that Mykolaiv will not be able to complete the project to build block-modular boiler rooms, for which the government has allocated 1.1 billion hryvnias, before the start of the heating season.
Specifically, this involves the purchase of 18 modular boiler rooms with a total capacity of over 70 megawatts. This should provide backup heating in the event of damage to the thermal power plant. The head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitalii Kim, noted that several boiler rooms have already been delivered to the city.
Back in June 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 1.1 billion hryvnias to prepare Mykolaiv for the next heating season. According to the prime minister, this will ensure that residents' homes are warm during the coming winter.
