Heating season in Mykolaiv: what is known

The heating season in healthcare, education and social and cultural institutions started in Mykolaiv on 30 October.

The heat will be supplied to the homes of Mykolaiv residents starting from 10 November. In his turn, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych stressed that the connection process will be gradual. As a result, full heating will be available only a few days after the start of the season.

Vitalii Zaichenko, CEO of NPC «Ukrenergo», called on Ukrainians to be more responsible with their electricity consumption during the autumn and winter. He advised not to heat homes to the usual 20-22°C, but instead to dress warmer to reduce the load on the power system.
