Ukraine is planning to return to exporting the weapons it has in excess. In particular, this year it will open two arms export offices in Berlin and Copenhagen.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a briefing on 3 November, according to «Radio Liberty».
«We are opening two export capitals. This is the co-production and export of weapons. The first two capitals are Berlin and Copenhagen. We will have representative offices there, and it will happen this year,» he said.
According to the President, the opening of the first two representative offices has already been agreed upon at both the company and state levels.
At the same time, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it is precisely the weapons that Ukraine «can afford to sell in order to have additional money for our domestic production of scarce items for which we do not have enough money».
Advisor to the President of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshyn will be in charge of coordinating contracts with European partners.
«Oleksandr Kamyshin is in charge of Europe. He will represent Ukraine's exports on the European continent. All this will be legally opened, and contracts will be developed,» the Head of State noted.
In addition to the European direction, Ukraine will continue negotiations with the Middle East and the United States. According to the President, an American team will arrive in Ukraine next week to discuss the «Drone-deal» — an agreement in the field of unmanned technologies.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied the information about the alleged existence of a «12-point peace plan argeed» between Ukraine and its partners.
