Business activity in Mykolaiv region continues to decline. In the first nine months of 2025, 5,740 sole proprietors ceased their activities, which is almost equal to the number of new registrations.

This is evidenced by data from the regional office of the State Tax Service.

It is noted that as of 1 October 2025, 105.2 thousand taxpayers are registered in the region, which is only 336 more than at the beginning of the year.

During this year, 6,445 new business entities were registered, of which 5,754 were individual entrepreneurs and 691 were legal entities. At the same time, 6,054 businesses ceased operations — 5,740 individual entrepreneurs and 314 legal entities.
