More than 20,000 loans worth almost ₴35 billion have already been issued under the «eOselia» programme

The state programme for affordable mortgages «eOselia» has crossed a new milestone — 20,024 loans worth 33.6 billion hryvnias have already been issued.
This is reported by «Ukrfinzhytlo».
The programme was most popular among the military and security forces — 10,124 people, which is 51% of the total. Doctors made 1,528 deals (8%), teachers — 1,490 (7%), internally displaced persons — 870 (4%), veterans — 468 (2%), and scientists — 402 (2%).
The average age of a borrower is 35 years. Thus, people aged 26 to 35 applied for this service most actively — 8,599 people, or 44.2%. Young people aged 18 to 25, on the other hand, took out the fewest loans — only 1,747, or 9%.
The most popular property is still on the secondary market — 12,132 transactions with an average housing price of 2.25 million hryvnias. New buildings accounted for 6,098 transactions (average price — 2.41 million hryvnias), and housing under construction — 1,794 transactions (average price — 2.66 million hryvnias).
In terms of geography, the largest number of housing purchases were made in Kyiv region — 5,577 properties (27.9%), and in Kyiv — 4,313 (21.5%). This is followed by Lviv region with 1,235 transactions (6.2%), Ivano-Frankivsk region with 923 transactions (4.6%) and Odesa region with 913 transactions (4.6%).
«Each figure in the statistics is a story of a particular family that got a chance to live in their own home. This is the story of veterans, educators, doctors, young professionals who stay in Ukraine and build their future here,» said Yevhen Metsher, Chairman of the Board of PrJSC «Ukrfinzhytlo».
