Almost 36 thousand residents of Mykolaiv region owe for utilities

As of mid-September 2025, the number of utility debtors in Mykolaiv region exceeded 35,700. In Odesa region, there are more than 17,000 non-payers, and in Kherson region — 4,800.
This is evidenced by analytical data from Opendatabot, according to NikVesti.
The largest number of debtors is currently registered in the Dnipro region — more than 150,000. It is followed by: Kharkiv region — over 128 thousand; Donetsk region — over 81.5 thousand; Poltava region — over 57.6 thousand; Zaporizhzhia region — over 53.7 thousand.
According to the Unified Register of Debtors, there are more than 788,000 debt proceedings in Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale war, their number has increased by one and a half times, and more than doubled since January 2021 (there were more than 344 cases then).
Most often, people do not pay for heating — more than 330,000 cases. Debts for water — 162 thousand hryvnias, housing services — 96 thousand hryvnias, electricity — over 87.7 thousand hryvnias, and gas — over 75.5 thousand hryvnias.
The majority of debtors are among Ukrainians aged 46-60, with almost 303,000 proceedings. The second place is occupied by the 36-45 age group: almost 195 thousand. People over 60 have almost as many debts — more than 194 thousand.
Earlier, the State Statistics Service released data on utility debt for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion. As of the second quarter of 2025, the debt increased to 106.6 billion hryvnias and does not include debts in the temporarily occupied territories.
