Vegetables, milk and clothes fell in price in Mykolaiv region: how prices changed in July

Vegetables fell by almost a quarter in July in Mykolaiv region, while fuel, eggs and some other goods went up. Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices in the region have risen by 6.6%, and by almost 15% over the year.
This is according to the regional statistics department, according to NikVesti.
In particular, vegetables fell in price by 24%. The same goes for milk, soft drinks, lard and buckwheat, which decreased by 1.7% to 3.7%.
Prices for clothing and footwear decreased by 4%. In particular, clothing became cheaper by 5% and footwear by 2.7%.
However, some goods and services continued to rise in price. Eggs, fruit, fish, sunflower oil, meat, and bread went up by between 1.5% and 4.7%. Alcohol and tobacco went up by 1.2-1.8%.
In the transport sector, the cost increased due to higher fuel prices: A-92 petrol went up by 5.8%, A-95 by 4.1%, and diesel by 3.9%.
In the healthcare sector, on the other hand, a slight decline in prices was recorded due to cheaper medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
In May of this year, prices for food and soft drinks in Mykolaiv region increased by an average of 3.2%. Onions, lard and fish were the most expensive items, while cucumbers and eggs fell in price.
