Milk fell in price in Mykolaiv region, but pork went up in price

In April, pork rose the most in Mykolaiv region — by almost 14%, as well as soft drinks — by more than 11%. Milk and eggs fell by 4%.
According to the regional statistics department, the overall inflation rate in the region was 0.9% over the month, according to NikVesti.
A significant increase in prices was recorded for fruit (+11%), sugar (+4.7%), meat and meat products (+4.4%), potatoes (+3.5%), clothing and footwear (+3.8%).
At the same time, some goods fell in price. Milk fell in price by 4.3%, eggs by 3.8%, sunflower oil by 1.4%, fuels and lubricants by 1.5%, and medicines by 0.7%.
In annual terms, compared to April 2024, the overall inflation rate in the region is +16.4%, and since the beginning of 2025 it has increased by 4.6%.
In March, public transport fares in the Mykolaiv region went up by 21% and eggs by 18%, while lard fell by 8%.
