Hospitals in Mykolaiv region received almost ₴1 billion under medical guarantees: the largest amount was received by the regional clinical

In the first quarter of this year, the National Health Service of Ukraine paid over 956 million hryvnias to healthcare facilities in the Mykolaiv region under the Medical Guarantee Programme. The largest amounts were paid to the regional clinical hospital, the emergency centre and the children's clinical hospital.

According to the NHSU, the funds were used to pay for emergency, primary and specialised medical care.

Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital received the most funds — 91.7 million hryvnias. The second place went to the Regional Centre for Emergency and Disaster Medicine, which received almost 79 million hryvnias. The Regional Children's Clinical Hospital received 47.7 million hryvnias. City Hospital №3 received 47.6 million hryvnias, and the Oncology Centre received 45.3 million hryvnias.

In total, more than 723 million hryvnias was allocated for specialised care, of which almost 343 million was paid for services at the global rate. Almost 79 million hryvnias was paid for emergency care and almost 154 million hryvnias for primary care. Almost six million hryvnias was paid to the institutions for their readiness to provide medical care in the context of hostilities.

In total, 86 institutions that have signed contracts with the NHSU received payment. Most of them are municipal (73 institutions), which received almost 950 million hryvnias. Nine individual entrepreneurs received 3.2 million hryvnias, and four private medical institutions received 3.4 million hryvnias.

Earlier it was reported that the delay in the payment of salaries to medical staff of the emergency hospital in Mykolaiv in early 2025 was due to the late conclusion of contracts with the National Health Service of Ukraine. However, the hospital staff has now been paid.
