Almost 30.6 million hryvnias in compensation will be paid to residents of Kherson whose homes were destroyed by Russian shelling.
According to the Kherson RMA, compensation is currently available only for completely destroyed housing.
At the last meeting of the commission, decisions were made on 23 applicants. In particular, 21 people were granted housing certificates, and two more received financial compensation for reconstruction. The total amount of funds allocated is almost 30.6 million hryvnias.
At the same time, 18 applicants were denied because their housing was found to be damaged but not destroyed. Another nine applications were renewed for consideration.
It is noted that experts will inspect five objects that have significant visual damage and are probably not subject to repair or reconstruction.
As reported earlier, 14 residents in Kherson will receive almost 22.6 million hryvnias in compensation.
