Ukraine to receive over €100 million from the European Investment Bank

Ukraine and the European Investment Bank have signed agreements that will provide financing for the restoration of energy and critical infrastructure.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal after a meeting with European Investment Bank President Nadia Calvino.
According to him, the first agreement concerns the EIB's disbursement of 16.5 million for the restoration of critical infrastructure and the introduction of energy efficiency. Another agreement was also signed to receive 100 million euros to restore water and heat supply and sewage facilities, as well as to modernise basic social services in the education, healthcare and housing sectors.
According to Denys Shmyhal, the funding was also discussed within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
Earlier it was reported that the European Investment Bank plans to help Mykolaiv either with the reconstruction of destroyed housing or with the construction of new social housing.
