The project aims to support the stable operation of the independent online media outlet NikVesti in the frontline city of Mykolaiv. Its core focus is to ensure that local residents have access to timely, verified, and clearly explained information about reconstruction processes, public spending, local governance, and access to essential services.
Within the project, the newsroom will produce daily news and analytical content addressing critical information needs of the community. Particular attention will be given to accountability reporting, court coverage, public procurement, and explaining complex decisions made by authorities. The project will also strengthen content distribution and adapt materials for different platforms to expand audience reach and engagement.
