The project aims to strengthen the financial sustainability of the online media outlet NikVesti and to develop a more systematic commercial model for working with advertisers and partners. The initiative includes modernization of the website’s technical and commercial infrastructure, the creation of an interactive media kit, and the introduction of internal tools for managing advertising requests, client databases, and sales analytics. These steps will help structure advertising and partnership products and move from occasional agreements toward a more consistent B2B sales model.
An important component of the project is the support of editorial production focused on critical information needs of local communities. Within the project, the newsroom will produce news materials that provide residents with verified and practical information about government decisions, the situation in the region, safety, infrastructure, and other issues that directly affect everyday life.
By combining the development of commercial infrastructure with the production of editorial content, the project will help strengthen audience trust and create the conditions for more stable non-grant revenue. In the medium term, the initiative is intended to reduce the newsroom’s dependence on grant funding and contribute to a more sustainable and predictable operating model for an independent local media outlet.
