The project, implemented with the support of n-ost, Lviv Media Forum, and Institute of Mass Information (IMI Ukraine), is aimed at strengthening regional media in Ukraine in their fight against disinformation and propaganda. The main goal of the project is to support the professional development of local media and provide them with the necessary tools to counter information threats.
The editorial team of NikVesti actively participates in the project by creating analytical materials that aim to debunk fake news and highlight important issues for the community. The project also includes participation in trainings and seminars covering topics such as fact-checking, combating disinformation, media management, and financial literacy in media. Additionally, the NikVesti team receives individual consultations to improve editorial policies and content management.
This initiative provides opportunities for journalists' professional growth and enhances the quality of their materials, helping to build trust in local media and effectively combat disinformation.
