The project was implemented in partnership with such organizations as n-ost, Lviv Media Forum, and the Institute of Mass Information (IMI Ukraine). Its purpose is to support regional media in Ukraine in the fight against disinformation and propaganda, as well as to strengthen the professional capacity of journalists.
As part of this project, journalists of the online media NikVesti worked on creating analytical materials that help expose fakes and provide the audience with accurate, verified information. The project gave them the opportunity to participate in trainings and seminars on media management, fact-checking and journalistic standards. In addition, journalists had access to individual consultations, where they receive advice on editorial management, content development and countering disinformation.
This project was an important component for local journalism, as it helped improve the quality of materials and increase trust in the media in the region.
