The Health Department of the Mykolaiv City Council is the executive body responsible for implementing state health policy within the city of Mykolaiv. Its primary functions include coordinating the activities of medical institutions, developing and implementing local health programs, monitoring the epidemiological situation, and ensuring the population receives quality medical services. The department also addresses disease prevention, organizes vaccination campaigns, and oversees compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards. Under martial law conditions, the department coordinates the work of city hospitals and provides information to the public regarding the procedures and rules for receiving medical care.
