It is home to rare flora and fauna, including species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. Kinburn Spit also holds historical significance, having served as a strategic location for centuries. Today, it remains a popular tourist destination, though military activities in the region have limited access and the use of its resources for recreation and tourism.
