They will represent the country at the World Junior Championships and the European Aquatics Championships.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has approved the composition of the national teams for the 2026 Summer Olympic sports. The main diving team includes 24 athletes.
Among them are Mykolaiv natives Danylo Konovalov, Maksym Mirza and Bohdan Chyzhovskyi. The athletes are trained by Olena Bezrukova and Valentyna Vepryk.
The team also includes Mykolaiv natives Oleksii Sereda and Kseniia Bailo, who currently represent other regions.
It is noted that the main start of the season for athletes under the age of 18 will be the World Junior Championships. For the adult team, the key competition of the year will be the European Aquatics Championships.
We would like to remind you that athlete Oleksii Sereda from Mykolaiv was among the five nominees for the title of the world's best diver in 2025.
